Fire Chief's Monthly Report <br /> Fire Chief Tom Nelson indicated that the Fire Department provided fire <br /> prevention training for the students at Eagle View School. <br /> Chief Nelson requested the Council to approve having a roster of 28 <br /> firefighters. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED THAT THE FIRE <br /> DEPARTMENT CAN HAVE UP TO 28 FIREFIGHTERS. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER GREER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 10.1. Squad Car Fleet Program <br /> Chief Braam indicated that he checked with other car dealers regarding a <br /> lease program. He stated that there were no other comparable programs. <br /> The Council requested a memo from the City Attorney indicated that he <br /> has reviewed the lease program. <br /> L <br /> 10.2. Request for Conference Advance <br /> Chief Braam requested an advance of$800 for Josh Gartner to attend the <br /> K-9 school in Austin, TX. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE AN <br /> ADVANCE EXPENSE CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $800 TO JOSH <br /> GARTNER. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> 11. Water/Wastewater Supervisor's Report <br /> Brett Twardy requested authorization to attend a one day conference on <br /> water utility management. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO AUTHORIZE BRETT <br /> TWARDY TO ATTEND THE 2ND ANNUAL WATER UTILITY <br /> MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE.
