MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br /> City Clerk's Office <br /> October 2005 <br /> Meetings <br /> • October 4—Regular Council Meeting <br /> • October 6—Monthly Staff Meeting <br /> • October 18—Downtown Meeting <br /> • October 19—Meeting with Ray Niemann on pay structure <br /> • October 20—Park Board Meeting <br /> • October 25—Special Council Meeting <br /> • October 27—BLADC Annual Meeting <br /> • October 27—ED Strategies for Small Towns (workshop) <br /> Projects/Issues <br /> • PAY PLAN AND PERFORMANCE REVIEWS <br /> ■ The Chief of Police and I have met with Ray Niemann regarding a pay <br /> \., plan and performance review program. We will be working on the pay <br /> plan first as we have to complete this prior to approving the budget in <br /> December. The pay equity committee will be reviewing the pay plan and <br /> the plan will be ready to present to the Council at the November 15th <br /> budget meeting. <br /> • CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT SOFTWARE <br /> • I have received the Capital Improvement Software and hope to begin <br /> working with staff members to begin the process of putting together a 5- <br /> Year Capital Improvement Plan. <br /> • STAFF <br /> • Nancy Malecha attended an accounting class (Intermediate <br /> Governmental Accounting) in St. Cloud—October 26. <br /> • PARK BOARD <br /> • The Park Board continues to be busy working on the park improvements. <br /> `-- They are working with the Legion on the veteran's memorial and moving <br /> forward with the picnic shelter and planting trees. <br />
