❖ October 14,compiled Staff Report to be copied,bound and delivered. <br /> ❖ October 17,contacted City Attorney on subdivision. <br /> ❖ October 17,processed 3 Land Use Applications and issued 2 permits. <br /> ❖ October 18,numerous phone calls on subdivision. <br /> ❖ October 18,processed 1 Land Use Application. <br /> ❖ October 19,2 ISTS Inspections. <br /> ❖ October 19,processed 2 Land Use Applications and issued 1 permit. <br /> ❖ October 19,numerous phone calls on subdivision. <br /> ❖ October 20, issued 1 Land Use Permit. <br /> ❖ October 20,final preparations for Planning Commission meeting. <br /> ❖ October 20,ISTS Inspection. <br /> ❖ October 20,worked at getting caught up on correspondence and paperwork. <br /> ❖ October 21,followed up on items from P &Z meeting. <br /> ❖ October 21,follow-up correspondence. <br /> ❖ October 24,prepared meeting Minutes. <br /> ❖ October 25,completed Monthly Report. <br /> Downtown Plan: <br /> The Business Group met on October 12 and discussed issues and possible keys for <br /> success. They also discussed the suggestions from the Aesthetics Group and <br /> implementation and financing tools, such as Special Assessments, Tax Increment <br /> Financing, Tax Abatement and a local Sales Tax. <br /> The Aesthetics Group meeting on October 18 was very poorly attended. Those who <br /> attended did a great job of brainstorming and put some very good ideas on a map which <br /> will be used to create a draft"vision" for our Downtown. <br /> A combined meeting with the two groups is planned for November 16, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> at City Hall. <br /> Meetings Attended: <br /> ➢ October 4—Technical Evaluation Panel meeting at USDA Center regarding <br /> Valerie Dwight fill violation— 10:30 a.m <br /> ➢ October 4—Met with Mike Loven, Sandy Peine and Tim Houle regarding Fire <br /> Hall Retail Center—5:30—6:30 p.m. <br /> ➢ October 4—Regular City Council meeting—6:30—8:00 p.m. <br /> ➢ October 10—Monthly Budget Meeting—8:45 a.m. <br /> ➢ October 12—Downtown Business Group meeting—7:30—9:00 a m <br /> ➢ October 18—Downtown Aesthetics Group meeting—4:00—6:00 p.m <br /> ➢ October 20—Met with property owner and City Planner to discuss possible <br /> development—5:00—5:30. <br /> ➢ October 20—Met with City Planner to discuss Comprehensive Plan <br /> implementation—5:30—6:30. <br /> ➢ October 20—Regular Planning Commission meeting—6:30 p.m. — 12:05 am. <br /> Completed October 25,2005 2 <br />
