Staff was directed to meet with Mr. Smith and Pat Trottier at Landecker&Assoc.
Density is not the issue as much as design. Dan
Helbling was present and stated that he is purchasing Mr. Sergents' property on south
Highway 371. He would like input from the Commission on a proposed campground and
what zone would be best for a campground. The Ordinance may need to be revised.
Currently 2 RV's are allowed on 40 acres because of zoning classification. An EAW is
required at 50 sites. The campground would have a cluster sewer system. Maureen
Durand and Bob Madson also spoke about the campground. There may be an increase up
to 150 trips per day on Hurtig Road.
A motion was made by John Derksen, seconded by Mark Hallan, to table this rezone
hearing. All members voted"aye".
