City Council Minutes <br /> October 4, 2005 <br /> Page 5 <br /> --------------------------- <br /> Council Member Bolz-Andolshek requested a second quote. Council <br /> Member Ryan requested that the lease be approved by the City Attorney. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN WITHDREW HIS SECOND. THE MOTION <br /> WAS WITHDRAWN. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE LEASE <br /> SUBJECT TO THE ATTORNEY REVIEWING THE LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> AND CONTINGENT ON GETTING A SECOND QUOTE. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 6.4. Police/School Liaison Officer Agreement <br /> The Chief of Police presented the agreement for police liaison services <br /> with the Pequot Lakes Schools. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> POLICE/SCHOOL LIAISON AGREEMENT FOR 2006. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER GREER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> The Chief indicated that he is working with the Cities of Nisswa and <br /> Breezy Point regarding funding of the police liaison officers for the <br /> schools. <br /> 7. Water/Wastewater Report <br /> Brett Twardy informed the Council that he is doing a study on water <br /> availability and sewer availability charges. He indicated that he will be <br /> recommending that these charges be increased. Brett also indicated that <br /> there is a proposal for a housing development to go into Pequot Lakes <br /> with 81 housing units. He stated that this would put the sewer plant at 75% <br /> capacity. <br /> Brett informed the Council of an air leak in the sewer pond. <br /> After the Fact Permit <br /> Dawn Bittner stated that there were no events in the file stating that the <br /> City was contacted regarding the after-the-fact permit since November 20, <br /> 2003. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO FINE THE APPLICANT, <br /> GARY PETERSON, FIVE TIMES AFTER-THE-FACT PERMIT AS <br />
