BROTHERS
ANDERSON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
P.O. BOX 668
BRAINERD,MN 56401
TELEPHONE: 218-829-1768
September 1, 2005 TELEFAX: 218-829-7607
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
City of Pequot Lakes
4638 Co Rd 11
Pequot Lakes, MN 56472
Honorable Mayor and City Council Members:
As our surrounding communities grow, Anderson Brothers is working
to modify our products and services offered out of our Swenson
Aggregate Resource located on Nelson Road. One such consideration is
the ability to extend the length of our seasonal business. To
accommodate this we would like to propose building Nelson Road
going north from our location and then west to C.S.A.H. #16 to an all
season road by widening and placing a bituminous overlay at no cost
to the local units of government who share responsibility along the
road. Should we decide to make these modifications we would need
your approval to upgrade the road.
We would propose to do this work either this year or next depending
on the decision of moving forward with our modified service plan and
agreements with local city and townships.
Please consider this request that we are making to all local
governments involved. The widening and overlay of Nelson Road will
make it better for all involved in the use of this road since it is a
popular shortcut for many people in addition to the many contractors
that use the roadway.
erely,
Ron Wickham
VP Aggregates
ASPHALT PAVING • SITE DEVELOPMENT • UNDERGROUND UTILITY • AGGREGATES
