COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER GREER SECONDED THE AMENDMENT. THE AMENDMENT <br /> CARRIED 7-0. <br /> THE MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 7-0. <br /> Pay Equity <br /> The City Clerk indicated that the pay equity committee has evaluated and <br /> ranked all of the employee job classes using the State Job match. She <br /> stated that the rankings require Council approval prior to submitting the <br /> information to the State. Once submitted to the State of Minnesota, the <br /> State will determine if the City complies with the Pay Equity Law. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE THE PAY EQUITY <br /> POINT TOTALS FOR ALL EMPLOYEES AS SUBMITTED BY THE PAY <br /> EQUITY COMMITTEE. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 3. Preliminary Budget Review <br /> Water and Sewer <br /> The proposed 2006 budget for the water fund is $233,520. This is an <br /> increase of$33,977 from the 2005 budget. The main increase is due to a <br /> reserve fund that has been started to save for future plant and <br /> infrastructure replacement and expansion. Brett Twardy indicated that the <br /> budget proposes to increase water fees by $1.50 for the first 2,000 gallons <br /> and $1.50 for each additional 1,000 gallons. <br /> The proposed 2006 budget for the sewer fund is $176,196. This is an <br /> increase of$30,003 from the 2005 budget. The main increase is due to a <br /> reserve fund that has been started to save for future plant and <br /> infrastructure replacement and expansion. Brett Twardy indicated that the <br /> budget proposes to increase sewer fees by $2.00 for the first 2,000 <br /> gallons and $2.00 for each additional 1,000 gallons. <br />
