The
truck would not shift into pump operation or
into drive. The pump truck was towed back to
the station. The problem was a bad ground wire
from the transmission to the battery.
CRITICAL INCIDENT MEETING: Chief Nelson invited the critical incident
crisis team to talk to our fire fighters after
the motor vehicle accident fatality. Three
men from the team spoke to our group. We
reviewed the incident from start to finish.
Each fire fighter at the meeting told the
group what they did at the scene. The
meeting was a tremendous relief to us
after being part of a bad situation.
