RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT <br /> FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF COUNTY-WIDE <br /> RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND MOBILE COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEMS <br /> Between the City of and Crow Wing County <br /> WHEREAS, the Cities of Brainerd, Baxter, Breezy Point, Crosby, Crosslake, Nisswa, Pequot <br /> Lakes, Deerwood, Emily, and Cuyuna, desire to partner with Crow Wing County to enhance public safety county- <br /> wide, and; <br /> WHEREAS, a joint records management system (RMS) and mobile computer aided dispatch system <br /> (MCAD), will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all law enforcement officers in Crow Wing County and; <br /> WHEREAS, Crow Wing County currently maintains the 911 emergency communications system for <br /> Crow Wing County Residents, and Crow Wing County staffs and maintains an Information Systems Department <br /> with the technical, personal, and intellectual resources necessary to maintain RMS and MCAD systems; and <br /> WHEREAS, The aforementioned Cities and their Chiefs of Police believe that Crow Wing County is <br /> ideally suited to develop and maintain a county-wide RMS and MCAD system to enhance public safety in Crow <br /> Wing County. <br /> THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of urges the Crow Wing County Board to pursue <br /> the development and implementation of these public safety enhancing technologies with the full support, <br /> including potential cost-sharing support, from the city of and the police department. <br />
