Malecha, Council Members Greer, Bolz- <br /> Andolshek, Nagel Pfeiffer, and Sjoblad <br /> Members Absent: Council Member Ryan <br /> Staff Present: Sandra Peine, City Clerk; John Ryan, Deputy Police Chief <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Malecha called the regular meeting of the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Council to order at 6:15 p.m. <br /> 1.1 Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Malecha led with the Pledge of Allegiance <br /> 2. Chamber Building Lease <br /> This item was withdrawn until a later date. <br /> 3. Update on Highway 371 <br /> The Clerk informed the Council that Congressman Oberstar has contacted <br /> MnDOT regarding safety concerns with the highway going through town. <br /> 4. Police Department Resignations <br /> a. Chief Mark Forsberg <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ACCEPT MARK <br /> FORSBERG'S RESIGNATION. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> b. Officer Travis'Loeffler <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER MOVED TO ACCEPT TRAVIS <br /> LOEFFLER'S RESIGNATION AS POLICE OFFICER. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6- <br /> 0. <br />
