i <br /> I <br /> Monthly Report <br /> to <br /> City Council <br /> Planning and Zoning Department <br /> May, 2005 <br /> Land Use Permits: <br /> The Zoning Office has reviewed one Rezone Application, one Final Plat Application, two <br /> Preliminary Plat Applications and four Subdivision Applications. These applications, <br /> along with the necessary supporting documents, have been forwarded to the City Planner <br /> to be included on the June Planning Commission Agenda. The fee for these applications <br /> is$2,940.00. <br /> The Zoning Office has received and processed twenty-five Land Use Permit <br /> Applications. There was$6,652.10 collected in fees. <br /> As of May 31, the Zoning Office has processed nine more permits compared to 2004 and <br /> twenty-seven more than in 2003. <br /> Individual Sewage Treatment System (STS) Permits: <br /> The Zoning Office has received and processed seven Designs in May for ISTS <br /> installation. Year-to-date,there have been sixteen Designs processed, resulting in Permit <br /> Fees of$1,600.00 and Inspection Fees of$1,600.00. <br /> DRAFT Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance: <br /> The Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on the adoption of the updated Land <br /> Use and Subdivision Ordinance and recommends the City Council repeal the existing <br /> ordinance and adopt the new Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> The Lake Education Brochure and several other brochures pertaining to private wells <br /> were distributed at the annual East Twin Lake Association meeting May 28. <br /> Meetings Attended: <br /> ➢ Lakes State Bank Sign—May 5 —8:45 <br /> ➢ Staff Meeting—May 5 —9:00 <br /> ➢ Minnesota Municipal Utilities Assoc., Safety Compliance Management Program <br /> —May 5 - 10:00 <br /> Prepared June 2, 2005 1 <br />
