i I Monthly Report to City Council Planning and Zoning Department May, 2005 Land Use Permits: The Zoning Office has reviewed one Rezone Application, one Final Plat Application, two Preliminary Plat Applications and four Subdivision Applications. These applications, along with the necessary supporting documents, have been forwarded to the City Planner to be included on the June Planning Commission Agenda. The fee for these applications is$2,940.00. The Zoning Office has received and processed twenty-five Land Use Permit Applications. There was$6,652.10 collected in fees. As of May 31, the Zoning Office has processed nine more permits compared to 2004 and twenty-seven more than in 2003. Individual Sewage Treatment System (STS) Permits: The Zoning Office has received and processed seven Designs in May for ISTS installation. Year-to-date,there have been sixteen Designs processed, resulting in Permit Fees of$1,600.00 and Inspection Fees of$1,600.00. DRAFT Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance: The Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on the adoption of the updated Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance and recommends the City Council repeal the existing ordinance and adopt the new Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance. Miscellaneous: The Lake Education Brochure and several other brochures pertaining to private wells were distributed at the annual East Twin Lake Association meeting May 28.
