Malecha, Council Members Bolz-Andolshek, Nagel <br /> Pfeiffer, Sjoblad and Ryan <br /> Members Absent: Council Member Greer <br /> Staff Present: Dawn Bittner, Zoning Administrator; Sandra Peine, City <br /> Clerk <br /> Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Malecha called the special meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council to <br /> order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The City Council met in a Work Session Tuesday evening, May 17 to discuss the <br /> possible adoption of the State Building Code. Kevin Mealhouse, Regional <br /> Building Official for the State Building Codes Division, was in attendance to <br /> answer questions and explain the benefits of the Building Code and the process <br /> for adoption. Re-institution of the Building Code is a short-term action in the <br /> Comprehensive Plan <br /> There was a general consensus of the Council to move forward with the adoption <br /> of the State Building Code.
