�. Monthly Report to City Council Planning and Zoning Department April, 2005 Land Use Permits: The Zoning Office has reviewed two Variance Applications and one shoreline alteration. The Variance Applications, along with necessary supporting documents,have been forwarded to the City Planner to be included on the May Planning Commission Agenda. The fee for these applications is$800.00. The Zoning Office has received and processed thirteen Land Use Permit Applications,to date. There were $3,201.00 collected in fees. Individual Sewage Treatment System (ISTS) Permits: The Zoning Office has received and processed four Designs in April, to date,for ISTS installation. Year-to-date,there have been nine Designs processed,resulting in Permit Fees of$900.00 and Inspection Fees of$900.00. DRAFT Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance: The Planning Commission, council Members and members of the general public continue to meet and discuss the DRAFT Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance. Section V, Zoning districts and District Provisions, is being discussed, along with land uses in specific zoning districts. Meeting dates are published in the legal section of the Lake Country Echo. Comprehensive Plan Implementation: ✓ Staff forwarded information collected from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and BLADC regarding financial assistance,revolving loan funds, and tax increment financing to Community Growth Institute for the development of an information booklet/fact sheet as a handout to prospective business owners. ✓ Staff contacted the Chief of Police regarding his timeframe to complete the update to the Emergency Operations Plan. Education: Staff plans to remind the new Planning Commission Members to register for the upcoming GTS sponsored Workshops. Prepared April 26, 2005
