City Council Minutes <br /> April 5, 2005 <br /> Page 8 <br /> -------------------------- <br /> The Clerk indicated that the City Engineer bill has gone over budget on the <br /> Highway 371 issue. She requested the Council to authorize the use of <br /> unbudgeted funds for the Highway 371 issue from the MnDOT fund. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE USE OF <br /> UNBUDGETED MONEY FROM THE MNDOT FUND FOR ENGINEERING <br /> FEES REGARDING THE HIGHWAY 371 PROJECT. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.1. Purchase of Industrial Park <br /> The City Clerk indicated that Phil Schott of PFS Design has requested to <br /> purchase Lot 8, Block 4 in the Industrial Park. She indicated that the Industrial <br /> Park Committee met and recommended approval of the sale of the lot to Phil <br /> Schott. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE <br /> OF THE LOT 8, BLOCK 4 OF THE PEQUOT LAKES INDUSTRIAL PARK TO <br /> PHIL SCHOTT. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.2. Transient Merchant Ordinance <br /> The Clerk presented the re-drafted transient merchant ordinance. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 05-01 AN <br /> ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 142 AND ADOPTING A NEW <br /> ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS TO TRANSIENT <br /> MERCHANTS, PEDDLERS, AND SOLICITORS. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ- <br /> ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.3. Liquor Ordinance <br /> The City Clerk presented a revised liquor ordinance. The ordinance reflects <br /> current statute requirements. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE <br /> 05-02 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND LICENSING SALE AND <br /> CONSUMPTION OF MALT LIQUOR, 3.2% MALT LIQUOR AND <br /> INTOXICATING LIQUOR IN THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES AND PROVIDING <br /> PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.4. Job Descriptions <br />
