MONTHLY STAFF REPORT <br /> City Clerk's Office <br /> MARCH 1, 2005 <br /> 1. Budget Issues: <br /> • The Clerk's office has begun meeting with each city department on a <br /> monthly basis to review budgets. I feel these meeting will be beneficial in <br /> helping keep everyone on track with their budgets. <br /> 2. Happenings/Proiects during the month: <br /> `.. • 2004 Audit/GASB 34—The auditors were at City Hall on February 1, 2,3, <br /> and 4 gathering pre-audit information and working with us on GASB34. The <br /> four days they were here kept Nancy and I very busy. We anticipate they will <br /> be back for 1-2 weeks more to complete the audit. The amount of time they <br /> are spending this year is considerably more than will be needed next year. <br /> This is due to the fact that it is our first audit with LarsonAllen. <br /> • Job Descriptions—We have put together job descriptions for all positions at <br /> City Hall. These descriptions have been reviewed by the Department heads <br /> and Council liaisons. <br /> • Transient Merchant Ordinance—Met with Justin, Chris, and Chief Forsberg <br /> to review Ordinance. Redrafted after meeting and sent to attorney for <br /> review. <br /> • City Attorney-Met with new Attorney Paul Sandelin and gave him the <br /> following projects to work on: <br /> • Liquor Ordinance <br /> • Road Agreements <br /> • Spray Irrigation Field lease <br /> • Transient Merchant Ordinance <br />
