There has been interest from an owner in the Industrial Park to
include their business name on the existing Industrial Park sign just
east of the intersection of Old Highway 371 and TH 371.
There are currently 5 businesses listed on the sign. City Staff will
contact the other business owners in the Industrial Park to see if
they wish to be included on the sign. The existing sign only has
space for possibly 2 additional signs. If there are more than 2
businesses to be added, a second sign would be needed. The City
already has an extra top portion of the sign ("Pequot Lakes
Industrial Park" with bobber). The only expense to the City would
be the 2 posts and the material to anchor them in the ground,
approximately $100.00.
Staff is asking the Council's permission to install the second
Industrial Park sign, should additional signage necessitate, directly
south of the existing sign, at a cost of approximately $100.00.
