AGENDA ITEM #11 .3
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Date: February 1, 2005
Subject: Congressman Oberstar's Office
Report: Congressman Oberstar has requested to rent
office space at Pequot Lakes City Hall. The space would be
used to house one of his aides. They would provide all
`.. furniture and office equipment. They would also pay rent.
The aide working from the Brainerd office currently pays
$175 per month. When I worked in Elk River, the City
rented space to Congressman Oberstar's Aide at $150 per
month.
The only office that is available for use is the office
upstairs next to the Mayor's office.
Council Action Requested: Council decision as to
whether the City should rent space to Congressman
Oberstar and if so, at what rate.
