City Council Minutes
February 2, 2005
Page 7
----------------------------
E. Plat/Permit Reviews
The City Engineer requested direction on fees for engineering
services that come up during plat and permit reviews. After some
discussion the Council directed the Engineer to work with the
Zoning Administrator and let her know what his charge for services
will be up front.
F. Mapping
The Engineer reminded the Council that the City approved a July 3,
2001 proposal to assist the City with mapping services. He
indicated that the cost was $13,600, but Council approval was
necessary to proceed. He suggested that the City budget money to
proceed with this project.
G. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) MPCA Facility Plan
The Engineer questioned if the City was budgeting for the Facility
Plan that MPCA would require if and when something is done with
`• the spray irrigation fields and/or wastewater ponds. The Council
indicated that no funds have been budgeted for this project.
H. Peguot Boulevard/Marshall Street Storm Drainage
The engineer distributed a feasibility report of the Marshall Street
area drainage study. He recommended that the Council review the
study and then make a decision whether the City wants to control
the storm water run off in this area. Council Member Sjoblad
indicated he felt the City should take action on this issue. It was
noted that this would be discussed at the March Council meeting.
13. Other Business
There was no other business.
