Our firm has had the privilege of representing many cities in the lakes area as City <br /> Attorney, and we would like the opportunity to represent the City of Pequot Lakes and to develop <br /> a professional relationship with the City. <br /> Our firm currently and in the past has provided legal advice to many area cities on a variety of <br /> issues. Our firm represents other municipalities in the lakes area including Nisswa and <br /> Crosslake, which provides us with a broad base of municipal experience from which to provide <br /> competent and cost-effective guidance and advice to the City. Our municipal experience ranges <br /> from planning and zoning, real estate and land use issues, to litigation, condemnation, <br /> employment issues, assessments, as well as tax increment financing. We have handled most <br /> types of issues that the City will be addressing now or in the future as part of our ongoing <br /> representation of other cities. <br /> We believe that our firm's combined municipal experience is unique to the lakes area and is an <br /> invaluable asset for our municipal clients. In addition, our firm frequently practices in the areas <br /> of real estate, land use, business, estate planning and commercial law. The attorneys that will be <br /> providing services to the City include Paul Sandelin and Kirk Adams. Kirk and I routinely attend <br /> City Council and Planning Commission meetings, although regular attendance at meetings is a <br /> decision to be made by the City based upon its needs. I have practiced law in Pequot Lakes since <br /> 1993 and am familiar with the area,people and issues. <br /> Enclosed is our current fee schedule.
