RESOLUTION 05-03 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> A RESOLUTION ENABLING ELECTED AND APPOINTED <br /> OFFICIALS TO BE COVERED BY WORKERS' COMPENSATION <br /> INSURANCE <br /> WHEREAS, the law enables elected or appointed officials of the City to be covered; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council Members' intent is that elected or appointed <br /> officials will be included as employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, elected or appointed officials shall include members of the City Council <br /> and appointed Board and Commission members. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the members of the Pequot Lakes City <br /> Council and appointed board and commission members be covered by the <br /> Minnesota Workers' Compensation law. <br /> Passed and adopted by the Pequot Lakes City Council this 0 day of January, 2005. <br /> Cathy Malecha, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Sandra A.
