City Council Minutes <br /> January 4, 2005 <br /> Page 6 <br /> --------------------------- <br /> RECOMMENDED BY THE MAYOR. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.6. Library Appointments <br /> The Mayor requested the following appointments to the Library Board: <br /> Jerry Akerson 1/1/05— 12/31/07 <br /> Nancy Adams — 1/1/05 — 12/31/07 <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> APPOINTMENTS TO THE LIBRARY BOARD AS RECOMMENDED BY <br /> THE MAYOR. COUNCIL MEMBER PFEIFFER SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.7. Transient Merchant Ordinance <br /> The Council reviewed the proposed ordinance. It was recommended that <br /> the ordinance be reviewed by a committee of Council Members Bolz- <br /> Andolshek and Greer and the City Clerk and then brought back for Council <br /> review. <br /> 12.8. Consider City Planner Proposals <br /> This item was voted on under agenda item 7.2. <br /> 12.9. Consider City Attorney Proposals <br /> The City received two proposals for City Attorneys; one from Paul <br /> Sandelin and one from Tom Fitzpatrick. Discussion pursued regarding <br /> attorney services. It was the consensus of the Council to accept the <br /> proposal from Paul Sandelin. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br /> FROM PAUL SANDELIN FOR ATTORNEY SERVICES FOR THE CITY <br /> FOR 2005. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.10 Goals <br /> Council Member Greer indicated that he would like the Council to consider <br /> holding a meeting to talk about Council goals for the City. <br />
