COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO CONTRACT WITH <br /> LAKELAND AGENCY AS THE CITY'S INSURANCE AGENT OF <br /> RECORD FOR 2007. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 7. Planning and Zoninq Report <br /> Report by Dawn Bittner. <br /> 7.1. Rezoning from Residential and Commercial to Shoreline Residential — <br /> Applicant (City of Peguot Lakes) <br /> Staff report by Dawn Bittner. Dawn Bittner noted that the affected <br /> properties were pulled out of the City-wide rezoning due to having <br /> frontage on both Sibley Lake and Highway 371. The Planning Commission <br /> unanimously recommended rezoning the properties as stated in the <br /> attached ordinance amendment. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 06-23 <br /> AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE CITY OF PEQUOT <br /> LAKES BASED ON THE 11 FINDINGS OF FACT LISTED IN THE <br /> NOVEMBER 27, 2006 PLANNING COMMISSION REPORT. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7- <br /> 0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO APPROVE SUMMARY <br /> ORDINANCE 06-23 FOR PUBLICATION PURPOSES. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 7.2. Rezoning from Rural Residential to Rural Residential —Applicant (City of <br /> Peguot Lakes) <br /> Staff report by Dawn Bittner. Ms. Bittner noted that the Planning <br /> Commission recommended that the subject property owned by Ms. Watt <br /> be rezoned from rural residential to the new rural residential classification. <br />
