Truth In Taxation <br /> Mayor Malecha presented the budget and levy information for the Truth In <br /> Taxation Hearing. She opened the meeting to public comment. <br /> John Marchwick questioned why his property value has increase over the <br /> past several years. Mayor Malecha noted that he should check with the <br /> County Assessor. <br /> Mayor Malecha stated the tax rate in two of the City's three taxing districts <br /> has decreased due to the proposed general fund budget and levy. Mayor <br /> Malecha noted that the Council is also considering the proposed <br /> enterprise and non-levy budgets this evening. <br /> Mayor Malecha noted that the subsequent hearing for final adoption of the <br /> levy and budgets is scheduled for December 21, 2006, at 6:00 p.m. at City <br /> Hall. There being no further public comment, Mayor Malecha closed the <br /> hearing. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 06- <br /> 38 ADOPTING PROPOSED 2006 TAX LEVY OF $1,360,000, <br /> COLLECTIBLE IN 2007. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br />
