AGENDA ITEM #11 .4
REPORT TO
CITY COUNCIL
Date: December 4, 2006
Subject: Water/Wastewater Employee Wage Review
Report: As the Council is aware, Tina Nolden has been
assuming all responsibilities in the Water/Wastewater
departments since October 23rd. The committee is still
. working on making a recommendation to the Council
regarding restructuring of the department.
Tina has received her Class C Water License and Class D
Wastewater License. This in itself would substantiate an
increase in pay.
It is my recommendation that Tina be moved to Step 10 of
the 2007 pay plan immediately and that the increase in pay
be retroactive from October 23, 2006. This would equate in
a $1 .40 per hour increase in pay.
It is also my recommendation that this pay will not increase
until a recommendation has been made to the Council
regarding restructuring of the department and after the Job
