Reduction of $1,500 — Council contingency to round the budget <br /> She noted that these amendments reduce the levy to $1,360,000 and <br /> reduces the general fund budget to $1,630,290. <br /> Some Council discussion pursued regarding the Park Budget and whether <br /> the Council should put that money into the park dedication fund. It was the <br /> consensus of the Council that this money not be put in the park dedication <br /> fund, but be used to reduce the levy this year and continue using the <br /> money until it is depleted. At that time the Council will begin levying for the <br /> park budget. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> PROPOSED BUDGET AMENDMENTS. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 8. Planning and Zoning Report <br /> Report presented by Dawn Bittner. <br /> 8.1. Buschmann Addition final Plat—Applicant, HRA <br /> Staff report by Chuck Marohn. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> BUSCHMANN ADDITION FINAL PLAT. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 8.2. Discussion of Rezoning Fees — Can Couture <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO WAIVE ALL EXPENSES THAT <br /> EXCEEDED THE APPLICATION FEE ASSOCIATED WITH THE <br /> COUTURE REZONE IN THE AMOUNT OF $387.52. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 6-1. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD VOTED AGAINST THE <br /> MOTION. <br /> 8.3. Explanation of Zoning Fees <br /> Dawn Bittner provided a report on zoning fees that exceed the application <br /> fee. Council Member Ryan suggested that the fees be researched to <br /> ensure that the City is charging a sufficient fee to cover normal application <br /> fee charges. <br />
