� <br />7.3 Employees may examine their own individual personnel files at reasonable times <br />under supervision of the Employer, as provided in Minn. Stat. § 181.961. <br />7.4 If the Einployer has reason to reprimand an employee, the Employer shall attempt <br />to do it in a maru�er ihat will not embarrass the employee before other employees <br />or the public. <br />ARTICLE 8 <br />OVERT'IME, COMP�NSATORY TIME <br />8.1 All hours warked by an employee in excess of eighty (80) in a fourteen (14) day <br />work period shall be campensated for at the rate af one and one-half {1%) tirnes <br />the employee's regular straight time rate af pay or as compensatory time, figured <br />at one and ane-hatf (1 %2} hours of compensatory time for each hour of overtime <br />worked. Accumulation of and use of campensatary time is subject #o approval af <br />the Police Chief. <br />Vacation does count toward "hours worked" for purposes of overtime. <br />Compensatary time, sick time off, personal holiday time and holiday time off do <br />not count taward "hours worked." <br />`" 8.2 Employees may accumulate compensatory time for overtime hours worked not to <br />exceed eighty (80) hours. Compensatary time may be carried from year to year, <br />but only ta the accrued maxitnum as allowed under Section 12.3 of this <br />Agreement. Compensatory time, over the allowed accrued maximum to be carried <br />over for the following year, shall be paid in cash if not used by December 31 of <br />the year in which it is earned, unless an employee requests and �•eceives Ciiy <br />Council approval for the exception to this rule. In cases af termination, fo�� any <br />reason, accrued compensatory time shail be paid to the employee 2n cash. <br />t <br />8.3 Employees required to appear in court during their off-duty hours shall receive a <br />miniinum of three {3) hours pay or compensatory time at their regular straight <br />time hourly rate. <br />8.4 Employees calied back to wark during tlieir off-duty hours shalE be paid a <br />minimum of two (2} hours pay or compensatoiy time at their regula�• straight time <br />hourly rate. <br />8.5 For the purpose of computing overtime compensation, overtime hours worked <br />shall not be pyramided, compounded or paid twice %r the sacne hours worked. <br />Overtime tivill be calculated to the nearest quarter of the hour. <br />22794-0 <br />: <br />
