Birch Lane Cartway Ordinance <br /> Mike Loven presented an ordinance amendment that indicated that <br /> watercraft, snowmobiles, or off-road motorized vehicles are not allowed on <br /> Birch Lane Cartway. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 06-12 <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE #198 PROVIDING RULES AND <br /> REGULATIONS FOR THE BIRCH LANE CARTWAY IN THE CITY OF <br /> PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 11.6. Resolution Requesting Speed Studies <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 06-22 <br /> REQUESTING THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION TO <br /> INVESTIGATE CERTAIN ROADS IN PEQUOT LAKES TO DETERMINE <br /> REASONABLE SPEED. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 12.1. Schedule Special Meeting with MnDOT/Hwv. 371 <br /> Tim Houle questioned what direction he should move regarding the <br /> municipal consent process for Highway 371. Council Member Nagel <br /> requested information from MnDOT regarding the cost to go around town. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER GREER MOVED TO FORWARD RESOLUTION 06- <br /> 23 TO MNDOT. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 13. Other Business <br /> Council Member Sjoblad requested the Council to complete the <br /> information in the Council Packet regarding the soil and water service <br /> district. <br />
