City Council Minutes <br /> August 8, 2006 <br /> Page 5of10 <br /> ---------------------------- <br /> • Clerk <br /> The proposed 2007 Clerk budget is $194,080. This is an increase of <br /> $25,088 from the 2006 budget. The main reason for the increase is <br /> based on the purchase of new financial software. The Clerk noted that <br /> the Community Policing fund could support a portion of the software. <br /> • Fire Protection Contract <br /> The proposed 2007 Fire Protection budget is $69,000. This is an <br /> increase of$11,000 from the 2006 budget. This increase is based on the <br /> fire protection formula which includes market value, fire budget and <br /> number of fire calls. <br /> • HRA <br /> The proposed 2007 HRA budget is $11,300. This is an increase of <br /> $10,007 from the 2006 budget. The increase is based on capital outlay <br /> carryover which includes $10,000 to cover one WAC and SAC fee for <br /> possible future projects. <br /> • Insurance <br /> The proposed 2007 Insurance budget is $44,000. This is an increase of <br /> $9,000 from the 2006 budget. <br /> • Industrial Park <br /> The proposed 2007 Industrial Park budget is $41,250. This is the first <br /> year the City has budgeted for this fund. This budget will be funded by <br /> special assessments. <br /> • HRA Levy <br /> The HRA is requesting to levy the maximum levy which is .0144% of <br /> the market value of the city which is approximately $29,800. The exact <br /> amount will be available when we know the exact market value of the <br /> City. <br />
