City Council Minutes <br /> August 8, 2006 <br /> Page 3 of 10 <br /> ---------------------------- <br /> • Roads and Streets <br /> The proposed 2007 Roads and Streets Budget is $517,700. This is an <br /> increase of$22,264 from the 2006 budget. The major increase in this <br /> fund relates to wages, fuel, and health insurance. <br /> • General Buildings <br /> The proposed 2007 General Buildings Budget is $87,790. This is an <br /> increase of$14,349 from the 2006 budget. The major increase relates <br /> to repair, maintenance and services. <br /> • Street Lighting <br /> The proposed 2007 Street Lighting budget is $12,600. This is an <br /> increase of$1,200 from the 2006 budget. <br /> • Signal and Signs <br /> The proposed 2007 Signal and Signs budget is $7,000. This is an <br /> increase of$500 from the 2006 budget. <br /> • Recycling <br /> The proposed 2007 Recycling budget is $11,650. This dollar amount is <br /> reimbursed through SCORE funds. <br /> • Cemetery <br /> The proposed 2007 Cemetery budget is $1,810. This is the first year <br /> the City has budgeted for this fund. <br /> • Storm Sewer <br /> The proposed 2007 Storm Sewer budget is $53,050. This is the first <br /> year the City has budgeted for this fund. <br /> • Highway 371 <br /> The proposed 2007 Highway 371 budget is $37,000. This is an increase <br /> of$2,000 from the 2006 budget. <br />
