12-3-2012 <br />Letter of Concern <br />After conversation with Chief of Police Eric Klang the officers of the Pequot Lakes <br />Police Department would like to express our concern over the cutting of the Part Time <br />ofiicers for the budget year 2013. <br />We agree that times are tough and require sacrifice however we are concerned about the <br />public safety aspects of cutting the Part Time staff. We were informed at an all staff <br />department meeting on 11-30-12 that shifts will be left open due to the lack of personal to <br />fill.
