Modeling duties included input and refinement of analytic elements in the Multi-Layer Analytic Element Model <br /> (MLAEM) that are used to represent wells, rivers, net infiltration, inhomogeneities (in hydraulic conductivity and <br /> thickness of an aquifer), and leakage between aquifers. Other duties included preparation of a tutorial for the Capture <br /> Zone Analytic Element Model(CZAEM)distributed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency,a quality assurance <br /> document for MLAEM as required by the U.S. Geological Survey, and testing of the Multi-layer Variable-density <br /> Analytic Element Model(MVAEM). <br />
