Pequot Lakes City Council TH 371 Four-Lane Improvements Work Session with MnDOT August 22, 2006, 6:00 pm Issues To Consider Thru Downtown MnDOT • Accesses onto/off of/across new 4-lane • Pedestrian crossings of new 4-lane (and any City costs involved) • Speed of traffic on new 4-lane • Cost of City modifications to City sanitary sewer and watermain in MnDOT R/W New service roads (new roads for City, cost of City share of thee roads) • Cost of possible new City sanitary sewer and watermain prior to service roads • Possible aesthetics/lighting improvements on new 4-lane (and City cost for them) • Congestion(more mixing of thru traffic and local traffic) County • Number of lanes, crossing of, and congestion on CSAH 1 l/Main Street • Intersection control at CSAH I I/Main Street—Old 371 —CR 112 (stoplight?)
