■ BUDGETS <br /> The budget process for 2007 has begun. All departments have submitted their budgets. <br /> Nancy and I have reviewed all budgets with each department and are prepared to present <br /> them to the Council. I believe the Council will be pleased to see that the proposed levy <br /> increase at this point has been reduced by$100,000 from last year's levy. I hope to be <br /> able to give the Council their budgets to review on August 1 so as to prepare for the <br /> meeting on August 2"d. <br /> L <br />
