The
last project, ranked at 259, had 1 point.
The proposed end of the fundable range (usually for loans down at this
point, not necessarily grants) for this year is at the project ranked No. 96
with 45 points.
These projects are not too far outside the fundable range, but we'll see how
many projects don't move ahead this year or fill in ahead of us next year.
If these projects get into the fundable range, the City needs to be prepared
to move ahead (sometimes quickly) with preliminary engineering, final design
engineering, bidding, and construction.
Now onto water (note that it has a different set of criteria and point
scoring system than wastewater) .
Pequot's one water project (watermain improvements associated with the Hwy
371 Corridor Improvements) obtained 10 points and was ranked No. 92.
To put this into perspective, the No. 1 ranked project had 33 points. The
last project, ranked at 147, had 5 points.
The proposed end of the fundable range (usually for loans down at this
point, not necessarily grants) for this year is at the project ranked No.
134 with 10 points (same as Pequot Lakes) .
This project would be in the fundable range if the Hwy 371 Improvements were
happening. But again, the City needs to be prepared to move ahead (and
possibly quickly) with preliminary engineering, final design engineering,
bidding, and construction.
Timothy M.
