SUGGESTIONS FROM RESIDENTS RESULTING FROM MAYOR'S ARTICLE <br /> JUNE, 2006 <br /> • Mailbox drive-thru behind the Post Office at the North end <br /> • Remote location for mail box away from Post Office congestion <br /> • Frontage road in front of SuperAmerica and NFK—Stripe down the middle of the <br /> road(this was done by the DQ in Nisswa due to the same problem). No parking <br /> along this corridor as it is too difficult for two lanes of traffic to get in and out. <br /> Employees could park off-site and keep this area as an access road. <br /> • Yield or stop sign at the exit of the Lakes Bank drive-thru coming out by <br /> SuperAmerica. People are pulling out without looking. One lady indicated she has <br /> almost been hit twice at this location. Speed bumps were also suggested. <br /> • Parking along frontage road at NFK and SuperAmerica should be stopped. <br /> Especially during camper and boat season. This needs to be for through traffic <br /> only and not parking. Could employees park off site at the TDS parking lot or the <br /> street behind these businesses? <br /> • Road south of Pfeiffer Drug needs to be widened as two-lane traffic cannot pass <br /> with vehicle parking along this area. (I told this individual that we are looking at <br /> this area; it is part of the Government Drive Project). <br /> • Video tape busy times <br />
