Maintenance Department Monthly Report
June 2006
The planned work for the Trailside Park is almost complete. The topsoil, irrigation
system, and hydro seeding all have been done.
The majority of the 2006 road way improvement plan has been completed, with the
blacktop and seeding left to be done on Pine Needle Drive and Timber Oaks Road. Many
hours of street department staff have been used to get these projects closer to completion.
With Sentence-To-Serve help, new lower steps have been added to the Sibley Lake Park
hill and a retaining wall in poor shape has been removed.
One third of all new 911 signs for this year have been installed and the balance has been
ordered.
Meetings Attended in June
6-6 City Council Meeting
6-7 MMUA Safety Class
6-12 Government Drive Improvements
6-14 Monthly Department Budget Meeting
6-19 911 Locate for Signs Meeting
6-19 City Hall Cleaning Company Meeting
6-23 City Chamber Tower Maintenance Contract
6-26 2007 Capital Outlay Budget Meeting
6-27 MMUA Monthly Safety Meeting on Noise Control
6-28 Storm Water Permit Class—Baxter
6-29 Joint Road Meeting with Loon Lake Township
