City Council Minutes <br />December 4, 2012 <br />� <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />Justin Burslie addressed the Council regarding the SuperValu addition to <br />Pequot Lakes. He explained that the proposed plat cleans up the property <br />by consolidating four parcels into one and allows the City to verify the <br />location of structures and the amount of impervious surface coverage on <br />the property. He noted that the Planning Commission is recommending <br />that the plats be approved when the final documents are submitted. Justin <br />stated that the new survey indicates that the impervious coverage <br />requirement is exceeded by 2%. He noted that the City attorney <br />recommends that the Council not take action on the plat until the <br />impervious coverage issue is resolved. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO TABLE THE PRELIMINARY <br />AND FINAL PLATS UNTIL THE IMPERVIOUS COVEAGE IS <br />ADRESSED. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />Justin noted that the Planning Commission recommended that the <br />pathways on the property remain private. <br />7. Fire Chief's Report <br />� <br />No report submitted. <br />8. Police Reqort <br />Report accepted by Council. <br />The Mayor acknowledged receipt of the letter of Concern from Officer <br />John Ryan. <br />8.1. Office Manaqer — Full Time Status <br />The Clerk explained that Jeanyne Alderson will be moving to the Police <br />Department as the Office Manager on a full time basis beginning January <br />1 St She stated that the Job Evaluation Committee has recommended that <br />she be elevated by one step on the pay scale and that pay is <br />commensurate with the step. She noted that the step increase would be <br />above any increase given by the Council for the 2013 wages. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO AUTHORIZE A PAY <br />INCREASE FOR JEANYNE ALDERSON AT STEP 6.5 OF THE PAY <br />SCALE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2013. MAYOR ADAMS SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. <br />� <br />
