Maintenance Department Monthly Report <br /> May 2006 <br /> Work in the Trailside Park is moving along—several trees have been planted and the <br /> water main has been expanded and moved from in front of the Memorial. <br /> Our joint chloride application with Loon Lake township roads has been completed <br /> approximately one month earlier then last year to the joy of the residents. <br /> The maintenance department has been working with the Police Department on a system <br /> to set priorities on which city streets will be surveyed by MnDot and recommend proper <br /> signage along them. The process has been started and will be an on-going plan. <br /> Meetings attended in May <br /> 5-2 —City Council <br /> 5-3 -DNR and City on fire tower property <br /> 5-4 - Safety Committee Meeting and staff meeting <br /> 5-11 -Park Board monthly department budget meeting <br /> 5-18 - 06 Street projects pre-construction meeting <br /> 5-19 -Dave Strock—Berkley Risk Company <br /> 5-19 -MnDot—Traffic Department in Baxter <br /> 5-23 - Safety meeting—monthly Lakes Group safety meeting at East Gull Lake <br /> 5-20 -Asbestos inspection on old fish house building <br />
