COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. The City Clerk noted that this would allow the City to repay the $25,000 earnest money for the Liberty Tool Building through the bonding process, if bonding was imprit purchase the building. 7.4. Bids and Quotes for City Projects Discussion was held regarding whether the City should require quoteDATING projects under the required bidding amount of$35,000. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADOPT A CITY POLICY ST THAT ANY CAPITAL EXPENDITURE OF OVER $2,000 BE REQUIGET AT LEAST TWO QUOTES. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDO NDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 7.5. Request by Clerk to Attend TIF Seminar COUNCIL MEMBER JOHNSON MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE CLERK TO ATTEND THE TIF SEMINAR. COUNCIL MEMBER BOLZ-ANDOLSHEK SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. 7.6. Section 125 Flexible Benefit for City Employees The City Clerk explained the flexible spending cafeteria plan to the Council. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO APPROVE THE FLEXIBLE SPENDING PLAN FOR THE CITY EMPLOYEES AT $500 ANNUALLY AND $3.50 PER MONTH PER PARTICIPATING EMPLOYEE. COUNCIL MEMBER \., RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
