General Comments: Request to allow the City to collect for past due water bill. The <br /> Enlund residence has a past due water bill that they refuse to pay,this property is now <br /> under new ownership. The enlunds had a leaking water softener,they refuse to pay this <br /> bill for the reason of"that they could not have used that much water". The residence did <br /> in fact use the water. This bill would have to go to a collection agency. The total amount <br /> due is$291.64. <br /> Meetings Attended: <br /> Council 5-2 <br /> Safety mtg. 5-4 <br /> Staff mtg. 5-4 <br /> Safety—cities around area 5-23 <br /> Computer—water 5-25 <br /> For a new issue. The HRA is requesting a waiving of the water and sewer WAC and SAC <br /> fee. I have talked to my liason and we both feel this fee should be waived since it is a city <br /> dept or branch. But the question still remains what to do for future hookups? <br /> I have been looking at the issue of water and sewer rates and getting rate study bids.
