This program is <br /> spearheaded by the City of Pequot Lakes. The cities joining us are Nisswa, <br /> East Gull Lake, Lakeshore, and Breezy Point. <br /> • CABLE TV <br /> ■ As the secretary/treasurer for the Heartland Cable Commission, I worked with <br /> the Executive Board to review grant requests and distribute grant funds. The <br /> City of Pequot has received$5,000. As the Council indicated, the use of these <br /> funds will be decided at a later date. <br /> • MAINTENANCE POSITION <br /> ■ Completed the interview process for the Maintenance position. The City <br /> received 132 applications. Letters were sent to the 127 applicants that did not <br /> receive an interview. An interview team interviewed 5 applicants. <br /> • LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX <br />
