Last month Mr. Earl Hemmerich had a water leak at his
Trailer complex, his water and sewer bill for this month is
6,798.07. Should we bill him for the entire water loss and just
bill for the average usage of the sewer? Average usage per
month is 83,700 gallons.
The water dept is also sending out letters to the water users
without meters. They will have 6 months to have a plumber
come and retrofit for a meter. If not completed within this time
the city will have it done at the home owner's expense.
The new maint. Program has been purchased. This program
will be installed next month on the used computer that we are
receiving from the city office.
The Mn. Dept. of Health requested that the city test for
bacteria and flouride on a monthly basis. This was disputed
`-- due to be population actually served; verses our actual
population from the sensus. The state allowed us to resume our
original schedule, which is only quarterly. This is a significant
saving of lab testing costs.
Sincerely,
I
Brett Twardy
Water/wastewater supt.
`..
