9. County Road 11 and Eagle View Elementary School: We have not experienced any <br /> complaints about the road or winter driving conditions. The <br /> highway department has done a good job <br /> 10. The department received notice from FEMA that we are not receiving any grants. <br /> 11. DNR tanker project: Work is progressing, the frame has been shortened and the tank <br /> work is in progress. <br /> 12. Fire department personnel report: <br /> 1. New fire fighters hired are John Wasserbauer, Kevin Wendt, and Dan <br /> Cerise. <br /> 2. Jeremie Bridge received a Community Service award for his work as a First <br /> Responder. <br /> 3. Bob Peterson II passed his training tests to become a First Responder. <br /> 4. Ten fire fighters are attending Fire Fighter H classes. <br /> 5. Natasha Carlson has completed her year of probation and is a full <br /> fledged fire fighter. <br /> 6. Ice fest radar runs and ice auger contest were cancelled due to ice. <br /> 13. Significant fire department purchases: <br /> 1. Gas detector at a cost of$1795.00 <br /> 2. Fire department paid the $1500.00 bill for DNR tanker <br /> freight out of our personal fund <br /> 14. The department received a donation from TDS for$50.00 for scholarship fund. <br /> 15.
