of our squad cars and also the Tahoe which should make-up this years $7500
`.. payment.
This offer is very generous from Mille Lacs and has come about due in part
to my relationship with both the Public Safety Director Sid Lucas and the
Chief of Police Dwight Reed whom I have worked with for several years
providing training for their officers and helped them write grants for their
public safety department.
In the past 2 weeks they have also given us $1500 worth of lights for our
new cars and for the new ATV for the fire department. They are also giving
us other equipment for our department.
They are getting rid of this vehicle due to the firing of an officer which had
it and they will not be re-placing his position.
I would hope that you would find this to be a great opportunity to replace
necessary equipment at a great value to our city.
Respectfully,
Je Braam
Chief of Police
