CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A REZONING IN THE COMMERCIAL AND RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO THE FOREST MANAGEMENT CLASSIFICATION DECEMBER 14, 2006 6:30 P.M. AT CITY HALL 4638 COUNTY ROAD 11 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: The following will be the subject of a public hearing on December 14,2006, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Hearing: Rezoning. Applicant: City of Pequot Lakes. Property Description: Property is located at 28794 Hurtig Road. Parcel ID are: 290271100AAA009 and 29027120113130009. Charles Peterson,property owner. Purpose: Application is for rezoning in the Commercial and Rural Residential District to the.Forest Management zoning classification. The City recently rezoned all properties within the City to be consistent with the adoption of the new Land Use and Subdivision Ordinance, but property owners had the option of requesting a separate public hearing for their individual properties. This public hearing is being held at the property owner's request, and the zoning classification listed is the City's proposed classifications. All interested persons are invited to attend this hearing and be heard or send written comments to City Hall. Copies of the permit,maps, drawings and staff report are available at City Hall at least one week prior to the hearing date.
