REFUND OF PERMIT FEES <br /> At the July 3, 2007 Council Meeting Staff presented the written request from <br /> Kevin Nelson for a refund of his permit fees for a garage he did not build. It <br /> was the consensus of the Council to offer an extension of the permit if that <br /> was acceptable to Mr. Nelson. <br /> Staff sent Mr. Nelson the attached letter on July 5, 2007. Mr. Nelson <br /> contacted Staff on October 16 inquiring about his refund. Staff followed up <br /> this visit with the attached letter dated October 18 where I requested he <br /> contact me by October 29 if he wished to extend his original permit. <br /> I have not heard from Mr. Nelson and am assuming that he does not wish to <br /> extend his permit. He also has not indicated that he wishes to receive a <br /> refund ($199.40). <br /> Council Action: Council decision whether or not to refund permit fee. <br /> Staff Recommendation: No Refund. <br />
