POLICY RELATING TO CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION FUNDS: <br /> 1) Criminal investigation funds (cash) and forfeiture funds (cash)will be securely <br /> kept by the Police Department in a locked safe. <br /> 2) Criminal Investigation Funds will be used exclusively for investigation purposes <br /> or investigation needs. <br /> 3) Whenever funds are received, they must be documented. Documentation will <br /> include the Case File Number(ICR#), Date,Amount, Account Balance and two <br /> signatures. <br /> 4) When the funds are expended, they must be documented in the same manner as <br /> when funds are received. <br /> 5) The Fund balance will be reconciled on or about the first of each month by the <br /> City Clerk or the Deputy City Clerk. <br /> May 11, 2007 <br /> Sandy Peine, City Clerk <br /> Jerry Braam, Chief of Police <br />
