Maintenance Department Monthly Report
October 2007
A couple of thunderstorms with heavy rain and high winds have created
problems this month. With the completion of street projects with no grass
ground cover up, some wash outs of ditches and retention ponds have
happened more than once. The large drainage area on Gravdahl Drive was
lowered two more feet to handle more water run-off. Dozens of damaged
trees have been removed from streets and right-of-ways and hauled away.
All of the playground equipment for Trailside Estates has arrived. Like
large jigsaw puzzles, they are being assembled and readied for installation
by the end of the month.
With the installation of carpet, base trim in the kitchen and touch-up
staining, the improvements to the Cole building project will be completed
and finalized. There will be an open house on Oct. 6`''
Meetings attended in September
Sept. 9 — 10 MMUA safety meeting in Pint River
Sept 13 Monthly Department budget meeting
Sept 13 Park Board meeting
Sept 20 Job evaluation committee meeting
Sept 24 Economic Development meeting
