Pequot Lakes Police Dept.
Report to the City Council
September 27, 2007
So far for the month of August the Department has logged 545 individual ICRs.
Current Activities:
The Reserves, Part time and Full time Officers conducted several business and home security checks
throughout the month. Reserve Officer Leagjeld has been contacting each business in Pequot Lakes
and Jenkins for updating the Keyholder list for the Dept., in case of an after hours emergency.
Several Reserve Officers, Office staff and Fulltime Officers assisted with the Homecoming activities this
past weekend. Even though the Patriots did not win the Friday night football game, the activities were a
great success, without any issues involving juveniles.
Training:
Oct 3—5: Chief Braam and Officer Petersen will be attending training on Investigation of Sexual
Crimes. This will take place at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa.
Oct: Officer Rich Hogan will be scheduling and implementing the Department wide required
pistol and rifle training and re-qualifications within the next month.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jerry Braam
Chief of Police
