AGENDA ITEM #10.3. <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Date: September 4, 2007 <br /> Subject: Water/Wastewater Supervisor Job Description <br /> and Pay Range <br /> Report: The Job Evaluation Committee reviewed the <br /> position of water/wastewater supervisor. It is the <br /> `. recommendation of the committee to reduce the number of <br /> job points from 338 to 322. This decision was based on a <br /> review of the "State Job Match" description of the position. <br /> The Committee felt that the position description used did <br /> not match the City's position of Superintendent. The <br /> position used included supervising a number of employees <br /> and running an electrical utility. Therefore the Committee <br /> felt a reduction in points was appropriate. This reduction <br /> changes the pay scale as follows: <br /> POINTS STEP 1 STEP 6 STEP 12 <br /> 338 (existing) 18.27 20.67 23.97 <br /> 322 (proposed) 17.75 20.08 23.29 <br />
